Product Description
Bluva i6 Water Filter
It is a healthy and safe home desalination device installed under the sink that saves you from buying bottled water. It consists of 6 stages and produces 75 gallons per day, equivalent to 16 bottles.
Filtration Stages
Stage 1 (Cotton Filter): Consists of a polypropylene cotton cartridge that purifies down to 5 microns and removes solid impurities such as sand, clay, and algae.
Stage 2 (Granular Activated Carbon Filter): Made of thermally activated carbon, its function is to remove dissolved gases and treat water for unwanted substances like chlorine, taste, odor, and color.
Stage 3 (Solid Carbon Filter): Made of solid carbon with 1-micron pores, its function is to remove the smallest impurities before the water enters the fourth stage.
Stage 4 (Salt Filter): This unit is known as the membrane. It has extremely fine and narrow pores of up to 0.0001 microns and relies on reverse osmosis to remove salts, bacteria, and heavy metals, starting with a 96% rejection rate through a mechanical process that uses no chemicals.
Stage 5 (Post Carbon Filter): A carbon filter made from coconut shells that works to remove any unpleasant odor or taste after the water is stored in the tank.
Stage 6 (Minerals): A collection of volcanic rocks containing a calcite unit that supplies the water with minerals needed by the body.
